Significant CO2 reduction

The focus on eco-friendly vehicles, staff training and building refurbishment has enabled APG|SGA to reduce its CO2 emissions by around 710 tonnes (or 16%) over the period from 2006 to 2010. 30% of this reduction can be attributed to transport, 25% to heat energy and 35% to purchasing green electricity.  It is equivalent to an ordinary new car clocking up approximately 4.4 million kilometres – or circumnavigating the earth 110 times.
